Urn creation workshop – Pet bereavement

Create your companion's urn with your own hands

A tangible last tribute, gently guided in Mascouche, Quebec

Creating your pet's urn is much more than a creative act. It's a ritual. A moment to slow down, settle in, and honor the unique bond you shared.

In my workshop in Mascouche, I guide you step-by-step to transform your grief into a meaningful object, reflecting you and your companion. Concrete, with its imperfections and raw texture, evokes life itself: nothing is perfectly smooth, but everything has meaning. It's a material that endures over time, holding the memory of what's been put into it, much like our memories.

No judgment. No rush. Just a safe space to create, feel, and say goodbye.

WHO AM I?

Myriam, your guide

"The urn I created for my cat is more than just a container. It's the last gift I gave her. And by creating it, I transformed my grief into something beautiful."

I am a specialized educator trained in accompaniment, a concrete artisan, and a creative workshop facilitator. I experienced pet bereavement myself in 2022 when I lost my cat Baby Boo after 15 years together. That's when the desire to create this space for others was born.

I am not a certified psychologist or art therapist, and I do not replace professional support. I am someone who understands this pain and offers a caring environment to navigate it differently.
